CHEMICAL FUME HOOD - INTERLAB

TYPE OF MACHINE: The chemical hood has been studied and designed to allow sterile handling of various materials. The type of ventilation system is designed to provide protection to personnel from fumes, vapors, and toxic powders.

FEATURES: The laboratory chemical fume hood is generally made up of a closed cabin equipped with an openable front screen where manipulations and treatments that generate the diffusion of toxic vapors are performed; they are a fundamental tool for the protection in the laboratory of the operator from the risk of inhalation of harmful volatile chemical substances. Furthermore, total extraction hoods, with their ducting for exhausted air to the outside, are the most conventional and safe solution. They consist of a standalone furniture structure (the hood) and an air extraction system (a remote/external motor and ducting). In these hoods, the air that enters through the front opening ensures a sufficient depression to prevent any escape of the toxic substances used. Thus, it removes the contaminant present in the hood.
