The PMA High Shear Granulator is a mixer suitable for high-speed dispersion of dry powders, aqueous granulations or solvents, and effervescent products.

FEATURES:

The general concept of the new PMA-Compact arises from the common needs for consistent processing and ease of operation and cleaning. The mixing tank is therefore shaped to wet granulate the widest range of products in a reproducible manner, respecting batch size, density, and flow characteristics. Its shallow and wide-diameter tank ensures a consistent product vortex and reduces the tendency for product adhesion to the tank walls. Product yields are further improved by positioning the mixer blades close to the base of the tank. A typical dry mixing operation of 3 minutes is followed by the introduction of a granulation fluid under pressure using a spraying unit. After 3-5 minutes, a free-flowing granulate is produced, and then the granules are discharged quickly.
