The ERWEKA model TBH 425 TD durometer is designed for the semi-automatic measurement of tablet hardness. It can handle up to 10 samples simultaneously, loaded into a star feeder that automatically transports them to the testing station. The instrument measures hardness, thickness, diameter, or length of tablets, both round and irregularly shaped. The membrane numeric keypad allows for the input and saving of specific data, such as nominal hardness and custom tolerances for up to 50 products. Information can be easily recalled for future tests. Additionally, the device supports data transfer via SD card or USB. Calibration is guided by a menu and can be performed with weight stones or through the ERWEKA AutoCal 2.0 system. The USB and LAN/USB serial interfaces allow the device to be connected to printers or computers, ensuring compliance with regulation 21 CFR 11 when used with the optional MC.NET software.
