TYPE OF MACHINE: The machine has been designed for the packaging of boxes in the pharmaceutical market; it receives individual boxes from a linear conveyor, stacks them into a multilayer pack, wraps them, and seals them with a transparent strap.

APPLICATION SECTOR: Pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food, dietary, medical devices, manufacturing.

FEATURES:

The strapping machine receives boxes that are transferred from the feeding conveyor through the lateral drive station and are automatically stopped at the stacking station. The stacker lifts the user-defined number of stacks (layers of boxes) to the pushing station. The stacked boxes are positioned through the film on the plate group beyond the stapling and sealing bar stations. The rear locking station keeps the boxes in position while the stapling station in combination with the film tensioning station wraps the boxes on all four sides with the film. The sealing bar group is extended to create the continuous cycle of the film around the pack. The machine, supported on leveling feet, is made with FDA-approved materials such as anodized aluminum and stainless steel. The control of this machine is automated and will occur via a PLC. The operator's interface with the machine is made through HMI. On its screen, the HMI displays graphic and text information and provides software buttons. Once the user recipes have been set on the HMI, they can be saved and recalled for future use. The machine's program is written in such a way as to optimize the machine's movements for speed and the integrity of the film sealing. The machine consists of the following main groups: Feeding and grouping; Film unwinder; Sealing; Discharge; Electrical panel and HMI.

The machine was completely overhauled in 2021.
