BOTTLE DEGASSING AND CAPPING MACHINE - GF - MVT 26

TYPE OF MACHINE: The bottle closing machine in modified atmosphere and under vacuum has been designed and built according to the most modern and advanced technologies. All the solutions adopted are the result of research and design aimed at building safe, reliable machines capable of guaranteeing high quality and production standards. The machine has been built with high-quality components to ensure reduced maintenance and a long operational life. The pipes, fittings, valves, materials, and installed instrumentation comply with F.D.A. directives. All machine parts, smooth surfaces, and rounded corners have been particularly studied to facilitate cleaning and sanitization.

The bottle capping process is divided into the following phases:

• 1. Bottle Entry: The containers coming from the line arrive near the machine where a screw prepares them for machine pitch. The screw leads the bottles into the pockets of the entry star where, after a rotation of about 180°, they are deposited on the plates of the carousel.
• 2. Capping in modified atmosphere: The entry star deposits the bottles on the plates of the carousel, which moves the bottle towards the capping head; the bottle capping procedure is divided into the following phases: Bottle lifting, Bottle uncapping, Bottle vacuum, Nitrogen bottle and cap, Bottle vacuum, Bottle capping, Descent and release of the bottle.
• 3. Bottle Discharge: The exit star receives the bottles from the capping carousel and deposits them after a rotation of about 180° on the exit belt, near the ejector.
• 4. Bottle Waste: The waste system is implemented through a system defined as Soft Push, characterized by the presence of a pad covered with absorbent material and controlled by a pneumatic cylinder. Upon receiving the waste signal from the machine's control logic, the pad extends, hits the containers with capping imperfections, and moves them towards an independent waste accumulation. Conversely, suitable bottles will be free to flow towards subsequent processing.

The production speed can be varied by acting on appropriate parameters settable from the control panel. The maximum achievable speed is 9,000 bottles/h with 100ml bottles.
